Wheaton ranks among top 10 in Fulbrights
Seven students from Wheaton won Fulbright Scholarships in 2008, placing the college among the top 10 liberal arts colleges in the country. The success of the top Fulbright-producing institutions was highlighted in The Chronicle of Higher Education. (Read more.)

"Wheaton in Focus" is a new short-video series, produced by a team of students who are turning the lens on campus life and learning. Check out the first two episodes now.
The math of literature
"The Library of Babel," a short story by the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges, is only seven pages long. But Wheaton's Professor of Mathematics William Goldbloom Bloch found the connection between the literature and mathematics of the piece so fascinating that he wrote a 193-page book about it. Can't get enough of presidential politics? The election is over, but there's still time to view a campus exhibition of campaign buttons past and present. The display at the Madeleine Clark Wallace Library, curated by Emily Hammond '09 and Mell Scalzi '09, runs through November. (Read more.)

Women's soccer heads to tourney
The women's soccer team heads to its ninth straight NCAA Tournament this weekend, as the Lyons face Eastern University in a first-round game at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The action takes place at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. Go, Lyons! (Read more.)
