8:00 p.m.Loser Concert Series.  Featuring Cuban-born Paquito D'Rivera, saxophone and clarinet master, winner of multiple Grammy awards for both Latin jazz and classical recordings, and recipient of the National Medal for the Arts.  Cole Chapel.  Admission is free, but tickets are required.

7:30 p.m.John Berberian in Performance.  Berberian is an Armenian-American musician known for his virtuosity on the oud, a Middle Eastern stringed instrument. Sponsored by the Caroline C. Friday, November 7

7:30 p.m.Cold Fusion Ensemble in Performance.  The ensemble includes music director and guitarist Mark Volker, flutist Laura Campbell, cellist Florent Renard-Payen, tubist Dave Unland and regular guest oboist Ahmed Madkour, assistant professor of music. Their repertoire combines live performance on traditional western instruments with computer-driven electronics. Sponsored by the Dale Rogers Marshall Endowed Fund within the Evelyn Danzig Haas '39 Visiting Artists Program.  Cole Memorial Chapel.

3:00 p.m.Southeastern Massachusetts Wind Symphony.  Music Director and Conductor Earl Raney leads the ensemble in a performance of compositions by Shostakovich, Holst and Duffy, as well as Thanksgiving (mvt III) from Symphony of Prayer by J. Eric Scmidt.  Weber Theatre, Watson Fine Arts  Tickets may be obtained at the door $5 general, $4 students/seniors, $10 families of four or more.
